Kumarakom Lake Resort is situated on the banks of the picturesque Vembanad Lake, and provides a large waterfront. In an area of 25 acres, all cottages are independent and are built in a traditionally Kerala style. Some of the cottages are very old. These have been transferred with care and relocated in the Kumarakom Lake Resort. Each has a history, available for the guest to read and carry home

At the Kumarakom Lake Resort, guests can choose from 50 double-bedded, spacious, elegantly decorated, centrally air-conditioned traditional cottages. The Kumarakom Lake Resort is proudly serving at least 250 guests per day. Each ethnic cottage overlooks silvery canals, punctuated with translucent lotuses, slicing the front yard. Each cottage, has been painstakingly restored and relocated from 'Illums' (homesteads of yore), to immerse you in the splendor and grandeur of Kerala's magnificent history, life and culture

Ettukettu - Ettukettu, a multi cuisine 115-seater specialty restaurant offers a collection of exotic preparations unique to the land. It occupies a pride of place at the center of the complex with a well-appointed bar within.
Vembanad "Seafood Bar" - This is a seafood bar unlike any other. With the scenic backwaters and a rustic ambience, this is the perfect way to enjoy Kerala cuisine. The menu contains authentic Kerala cuisine and seafood.
Thattukada - The coffee shop of the hotel. Designed tastefully, keeping intact the flavor of a typical Kerala home, this restaurant has a boiling vessel that spews steam, a cluster of bananas that hang by coir ropes, an open frying pan, and many more. Open in the mornings and evenings, the Thattu kada is an inviting place to be in.
