Day 04: Itanagar Morning take flight to Tejpur. On arrival check into hotel. After lunch drive to Itanagar, capital of Arunachal Pradesh. The drive is through the plains of the valley. On arrival check into hotel for overnight. Day 05: Itanagar Morning city tour, beginning with the recently restored Buddhist monastery where a tree was planted by the Dalai Lama. Visit 14th century fort of Ita, and museum containing collection of ethnic groups. After lunch go to botanical garden to admire a collection of over 450 species of orchids. Later visit temples of Shiva and Kali. overnight stay. Day 06: Ziro Morning drive to Ziro valley. Afternoon visit village inhabited by the Apa Tani or the Nishi. Overnight. Day 07: Daporijo Drive to Daporijo, headquarters of Upper Subansire district on the right back of the Subansiri river. Visit surrounding villages, enjoy a boat ride in the afternoon and experience the peace and calm of this place. Overnight. Day 08: Daporijo/Kamki Morning leave for Along. In the absence of, a direct road across the mountain, descend to Daporijo valley and climb the neighbouring valley. Lunch en route. Afternoon visit villages and cattle farms of the Mithun at Kamki. These play an important role in the agricultural development of this area. Overnight. Day 09: Pasighat/Lali Short drive to Pasighat, on the right bank of the Brahmaputra river. Afternoon visit Lali wild life sanctuary where wild buffaloes, sambar, deer and ducks are found in plenty. Visit an Adi village and witness their Ponnung dance. Overnight. Day 10: Pasighat Spend the day in and around Pasighat, visiting surrounding villages on foot. Overnight stay. Day 11: Dibrugarh/Namdapha In the morning enjoy a ferry ride on the Brahmaputra to Dibrugarh,. After lunch drive to Namdapha, towards the Burmese border. Day 12: Namdapha Visit Namdapha wildlife sanctuary on elephant back to see flora and fauna. This sanctuary is home to four "large cats", the tiger , leopard, clouded leopard and snow leopard. Return to Namdapha. Day 13: Dibrugarh/Calcutta Drive to Dibrugarh to take flight to Calcutta. On arrival, transfer to hotel, for overnight. Day 14: Delhi Morning flight to Delhi. Transfer to hotel.
