The Valley of Flowers in Uttar Pradesh is like the Alpine valley, nesting at the feet of majestic snow-peaks. This 120 square km carpet of flowers is considered to be abode of the gods. After the monsoon the entire valley is transformed into a garden with innumerable varieties of flowers. Duration : 09 Nights / 10 Days Day 01: Delhi Arrive in Delhi, after lunch go on tour of old and New Delhi. Overnight at hotel. Day 02: Rishikesh/Devprayag/Srinagar(Garhwal) After early breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. After lunch, drive to Srinagar (Garhwal) along the river Ganga. Witness the spectacular confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers at Devprayag. On arrival transfer to hotel. Day 03: Karanprayag/Govindghat Karan Morning drive to Karanprayag, passing through Rudraprayag, famous for Jim Corbett's stories of man-eaters, and the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. After lunch drive to Govindghat through Nandprayag, Chamoli and Joshimath. Overnight at camp. Day 04: Pungaun/Bhyundar Trek through Pungaun and Bhyundar villages to an altitude of 3,350m. Walk through enchanting landscape and rhododendron country, meeting pilgrims going to the gurudwara at Hemkund Sagar. Day 05: Valley of Flowers/Ghagharia Full-day excursion to Valley of Flowers. Stay at Ghagharia. Day 06: Hemkund Sahib/Ghagharia A 4-hours uphill trek to Hemkund Sahib through flower-covered landscape. The shrime is situated next to a lake amidst mountains. Evening trek downhill to Ghagharia. Day 07: Govindhhat/Karanprayag Morning tred back to Govindhhat and after lunch drive to Karanprayag for overnight stay. Day 08: Rishikesh Morning drive to Rishikesh. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit town and temples. Overnight at hotel. Day 09: Delhi Morning drive to Delhi.
